Q:
What is an estate sale
?
A:
According to Webster's Dictionary it is the whole or partial contents of a home including garage, attic, basement and outbuildings.
Q: What do we sell?
A:
We sell the personal property only. This includes the contents of the home (or business), farm machinery, automobiles, antiques, art, furniture, jewelry, etc. Don't throw anything away prior to the sale, as the old saying "One man’s junk is another man’s treasure" is definitely true.
Q: What do we do with the items that don’t sell?
A:
We offer you two options.
Leave everything for you to go through and decide what to do with.
Donate everything to a charity and deliver a charity receipt to you with the final payment. We will also dispose of all the trash in this case.
Q: Is the family allowed to be at the sale?
A:
We do not accept any help with setting up the sale as we have adequate staff to handle this. Anyone is allowed to come to the sale and purchase items after it is set up.
Q: Are there any hidden fees?
A:
Absolutely not, we work on a commission only basis and are paid for our services at the end of the sale out of the proceeds.
Q: Do we clean the property after the sale?
A:
We leave the property broom swept and the trash removed. If you require to have it cleaned so it is ready for sale or rent we can refer you to a cleaning service.
