Our experience and services are based on quality research, connoisseurship and knowledge of the marketplace.  Both of the owners of Transition Estate Sales are Certified Personal Property Appraisers and have experience being expert witnesses in the courts.  

Transition Estate Sales is both licensed and insured.

Shirley was a Licensed Public Accountant operating her own practice for many years, and was a Certified Appraising Officer when she was the County Assessor of Hot Springs County Wyoming.  She has been collecting antiques and glassware since childhood.

Linda has a bachelors degree in business from the University of Montana and has been buying and selling antiques for about 10 years.  She has worked in Marketing and Advertising and brings this expertise to the company which will allow us to professionally advertise and market your items.

Transition Estate Sales was professional and compassionate during a hectic and stressful change in our lives. They respectfully came into our home and quietly and with dignity evaluated the items we had selected to part with. The values they assigned to our possessions, and subsequently the prices we asked for, were fully embraced by the buyers at our two sales. They hit the mark with price points eliminating unrealistic high expectations or leaving any money on the table. Prior to the sales they strategically arranged the items in a fluid and flowing manner. Prospective buyers were able to spend time at each item without being bunched up by others behind them. During the sale they inconspicuously moved throughout the crowd and answered all questions posed by prospective buyers. They then helped us correlate what didn’t sell, and offered us options for those items. We could not have been more pleased at the comprehensive way they conducted their business, and the cordial demeanor extended to us.
